Sumeet Home Solutions began as Sumeet Steel in 1981, founded by Mr. Padam Kumar Jain. It marked the beginning of the Kasliwal Group’s journey in the cookware industry. What started as a modest manufacturing unit has grown into a trusted name, known for producing durable and dependable kitchen products for households across India.

Kasliwal Projects Private Limited (KPL) was founded with a clear focus on the corporate gifting sector, offering practical, well-designed products that aligned with brand needs. Starting with stainless steel and kitchen essentials, KPL built a strong reputation for quality and utility, which laid the foundation for its expansion into manufacturing, private labels, and homegrown brands. While the company has since diversified into kitchenware, appliances, and home products through its subsidiaries, corporate gifting remains a core part of its identity, with continued partnerships across industries for curated and functional gifting solutions.

Over time, Sumeet expanded its product portfolio to include a wide range of steel and non-stick cookware, such as kadhai, Dutch ovens, woks, and gifting sets. Today, Sumeet is a flagship unit that powers the production for our in-house brands and continues to set benchmarks in cookware excellence across the country.

We proudly acquired Trupti, a trusted name in Indian kitchens, to enhance our brand portfolio. Trupti brought with it a legacy of reliable, everyday cookware that combined durability, affordability, and performance. From stainless steel classics to non-stick essentials, the brand had long been a preferred choice for families, retailers, and institutions alike. This strategic acquisition strengthened our commitment to offering accessible, high-quality cookware for every kitchen

We successfully acquired Smidge Home Products Pvt. Ltd., a dynamic player in the stainless-steel bottle manufacturing space. Established in 2020 during the COVID era, Smidge emerged with a sharp focus on the rapidly growing demand for high-quality, sustainable steel bottles. With this strategic acquisition, we expanded our capabilities in the bottling segment, strengthening our portfolio with innovative, durable, and eco-conscious hydration solutions

We acquired Suyukti Home Solutions Pvt. Ltd. in 2021, a state-of-the-art manufacturing unit established the same year to serve the premium and semi-premium cookware segment. Known for its stringent quality control and CNC-enabled R&D capabilities, Suyukti specialized in developing custom moulds for precision-engineered products. The unit played a pivotal role in producing cookware for our in-house brands like Trupti, Aramex, and The Chef Story, as well as for respected external brands including Amazon Basics, TTK Prestige, CELLO, and ROXX.

In 2022, we acquired Aramex Appliances Pvt. Ltd., with a focused vision to expand into pressure cookers and hard-anodized cookware. With this strategic move, we didn’t just broaden our product range — we entered a core category that serves as a daily essential in Indian kitchens, further strengthening our presence in the heart of home cooking.

The Chef Story was born out of a simple insight from the COVID-19 era that home cooking is no longer just a necessity, but an experience people value. Founded in 2023 as a wholly-owned subsidiary of KPL, Chef Story Home Appliances Pvt. Ltd. was created to bring premium cookware and appliances to Indian homes combining global aesthetics with functional design, without the imported price tag.

Kasliwal Housewares Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary, was set up to expand our manufacturing base. The company has acquired land in Wada, Maharashtra, to develop a 250,000 sq. ft. facility. This unit will increase production of cookware, pressure cookers, and bottles, and support entry into electric kitchen products such as kettles, toasters, sandwich makers, induction cooktops, and tiffins.
